Rainbo - Volitile EP

Every once in a while, I'll stumble across an artist that you just can't squeeze into one genre. Rainbo is a cross-genre producer out of St. Louis, fusing modern dance music and Hip-Hop. His notable influences include Pretty Lights, Gramatik, Bonobo, and Star Slinger, all artists which we have covered here on MOP. Where his music really stands out is in the way he incorporates elements of EDM into his productions. Volatile is a four track EP featuing heavy sample based hip-hop beats with Electro, Dub, Reggae and other influences shaping the songs into something truly unique. Readers of MOP will know that I am a huge fan of a well executed sample, and Sand Man is simply awe-inspiring. The samples on Volatile include, The Chordettes, Billy Joel, and of course, some Tupac. The EP is free to download, and I suggest you do.
